As the Florida primary approaches, our country finds itself grappling with instability in Iraq and Afghanistan, the persistent threat of terrorism at home and abroad, and major domestic problems such as a sluggish economy and a healthcare system in crisis.

As a concerned citizen, I hope that voters will reflect on the candidate with the most experience and the greatest ability to address these crucial issues. That candidate is US Senator John Kerry.

Senator Kerry has been fighting for his country for thirty-five years. He served with distinction as a Navy Lieutenant in Vietnam and subsequently embarked on a long and illustrious career in public service. For the past nineteen years, he has worked tirelessly in the Senate as a member of its

Foreign Relations Committee and is admired for his global view and in-depth knowledge of multifaceted foreign policy and national security concerns. Throughout his distinguished career, he has fought passionately on behalf of veterans and would continue to do so as President.

Senator Kerry is no less committed to the needs of everyday Americans when they involve domestic issues. He has made health care and wage and job security a priority throughout his years in the Senate. As President, he would continue to fight for affordable health care, for Social Security, for jobs, and for trade policies that work to the benefit of average citizens.

John Kerry is the candidate most qualified to be President. A Kerry Administration would make America safer and stronger. In a time of global and domestic turmoil, John Kerry's commitment, vision, and experience are vital. The leadership which he has exhibited clearly shows that he deserves your vote in next week's primary .
