If we cook too much food we save the leftovers.

There is enough surplus energy on our nations power grid everyday during the off peak to power hundreds of millions of homes that can be stored for use during the next days "peak".

A homeowner cannot conserve more energy during the peak than 100%

The utilities have told us we cannot store energy.

If the turkey farmers told us we cannot store leftover turkey on Thanksgiving would we toss it away and buy another one?

Waking up to the fact that just like the batteries in our cars energy can be stored and used at another point in time. This is not Rocket Science, we all do it everyday.

Results: lower energy costs, mercury pollution, acid rain, asthma, dependency on foreign fuels, need to drill Alaska, power line congestion and global warming.

Added note: All the wind farms in the country are doing nothing to reduce global warming because the utilities do not, and cannot turn down the fire in the boiler that fast in response to the wind picking up without cracking the steel smokestacks that have expanded 18 to 24 inches and stabilized at 5,000 degrees.

The net result is just more surplus energy on the grid going to waste. see: www.mrelectricity.com
